Quality chemicals are imported from numerous suppliers around the world and repacked into smaller, manageable packs for laboratory use. Our range of products in stock numbers in excess of two thousand.

Ace was the first local company to introduce distinctive colour coded caps for ease of recognition of the three grades. Containers conform to international standards of safety and labels are clear and concise with hazard warnings where applicable , permitting easy identification of the substance and relevant risk. Environment tips for disposal are also displayed in accordance with our environment policy.

ACE maintains its own delivery fleet which includes five vehicles. Prompt delivery is guaranteed. ACE also operates a Cessna Citation 501SP jet-aircraft from Rand Airport.

SABS ISO 9002 and 14001

Quality isn't an event, a decision or a programme with starting and finishing dates. It is about ongoing top performance, integrating excellence into production, planning and distribution in our inter-relationships with our customers, suppliers and amongst ourselves.

To demonstrate our commitment to a quality management system we decided to seek SABS ISO 9002 listing in June 1995 and on our first attempt we achieved certification, after only six months.

ACE decided, in 1997, to institute an environment management system in order to demonstrate the company's commitment to the protection of health, safety and the environment by doing something positive and meaningful that would be visible.

ACE reached another milestone with the attainment of the SABS international environment management system ISO 14001 also on its first attempt. ACE became the eleventh company in South Africa to be awarded SABS certification and the first small- to- medium sized company in all industries to achieve this.

We also became a member of the Chemical and Allied Industries Association (CAIA) and participate in its Responsible Care initiative.

We are agents for Schott and TGI glassware, VIT-LAB plasticware and Haldenwanger porcelain ware.
